Shemar Moore will soon be a dad for the first time.

The "S.W.A.T." star revealed that he is expecting a daughter with his girlfriend, Jesiree Dizon.

Moore couldn't hide his excitement and joy in a video he uploaded on Instagram Monday from the gender reveal party for their upcoming baby.

"Today is the day. You know your boy's got butterflies," he began. "Today is a special day. This is a legendary day. Today, your boy Shemar motherf–king Moore...is about to find out if he's going to be a daddy to a little girl or a little boy."

The "Criminal Minds" alum, 52, also gave a shoutout to his late mother, Marilyn Joan Wilson-Moore, who died in February 2020. He noted how much he wished she was there to celebrate the occasion with him but noted that she is there in spirit.

"I wanted to make this happen while you were here, but you're still a part of all of it," Moore said of his mother, before sharing the names he and his girlfriend picked as well as their baby's due date. "It's either going to be Legend, little homie, or it's going to be Frankie, little baby girl, and I'm about to be a father come Feb. 8, 2023."

Dizon, 39, also appeared in the clip to share her excitement, noting that she was "anxious." The model-actress, who is already a mom of two, admitted that she was hoping for a girl.

Dizon shares 5-year-old daughter Charli with ex Stephen Bishop. She also has a 16-year-old son, Kaiden, from a previous relationship, Entertainment Tonight reported.

"I honestly just want whatever is healthy, happy like [Moore] says 10 fingers, 10 toes," she told the camera. "I'm just so excited for this portion of our life together, and it's going to be amazing."

The video showed a helicopter flying overhead and the crowd cheering as pink smoke was released, indicating that the couple is having a baby girl.

Moore also recently opened up about the meaningful date of his daughter's upcoming arrival when he appeared on "The Jennifer Hudson Show."

"I'm Shemar Moore, 52½ years old. My mother is in heaven, right now it'll be the three-year anniversary on Feb. 8," he said in the episode set to air on Jan. 26. "And on Feb. 8, I'm going to make one of her dreams come true because, in real life, Shemar Moore is about to be a daddy."

The audience erupted into applause as Jennifer Hudson congratulated the actor for his baby news, saying his mom was "smiling down on him from heaven."

"I'm so excited. I'm sorry she can't be here. I was worried for a while that it was a 'that ship has sailed' kind of thing, but God had my back and things lined up," he added.

In a 2017 interview with CBS' Watch Magazine, Moore got candid about his family plans, revealing that he wanted to be a dad.

"I want to be a family man," he said. "I want to be a father, I want to have a partner in crime, a woman to share [my life] with. I want to continue to evolve, I want to continue to take the next step in my life. In my personal life."
