  • The three models offer premium looks and interesting features for less than the average cost of a flagship
  • TCL will fully reveal them during MWC next month

TCL, the brand that's more known for its TVs than its other offerings, has unveiled a slew of devices during CES. These include a foldable smartphone, a headset, and three premium-looking smartphones – all of which are slated to be sold for cheap prices compared to other devices in the market.

During CES, TCL unveiled three new 10-series smartphones, handsets that offer premium looks and interesting features sans the expensive prices other brands such as Apple and Samsung normally charge the average consumer. The company hasn't revealed official specs yet, but Gizmodo describes them as “beautiful” and “like an affordable Samsung Galaxy S10.”

Here's a quick look at each device.

TCL 10L

The TCL 10L is expected to be the most affordable among the three handsets. It features a 6.2-inch LCD screen, four rear-facing cameras, and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The camera setup on this device, arranged horizontally near the top, will feature a macro lens. It is also likely to feature a wide-angle lens, an ultra-wide angle lens, and a telephoto sensor.

TCL 10 5G

The TCL 10 5G closely resembles the TCL 10L. They look similar to one another, and sport the same LCD screen, quad-camera setup, and fingerprint reader at the back. Unlike the other, more affordable model, however, this one has support for 5G thanks to a Snapdragon 7-series chip that has 5G capabilities.

TCL 10 Pro

The TCL 10 Pro, as per Gizmodo, seems like a “clone” of the Galaxy S10 “in the best way possible.” This model seems to be the higher-end among the three, and sports a different look.

It has a high-resolution AMOLED display, covered by rounded glass that curves on the sides. It looks like a Galaxy S10, but with the selfie camera placed in a teardrop notch at the center of the screen and not in a punch hole at the top-right side of the display.

Not much is known about these devices. What is known about them is that all three of them will be sold for prices starting below $500. Interested parties are advised to wait for TCL to reveal the devices in full during the Mobile World Congress in February.
