  • Teresa Giudice got admitted to the hospital for an emergency surgery
  • A rep for the “RHONJ” star confirmed that the procedure was “non-cosmetic”
  • Joe Giudice asked his fans on Instagram to pray for his ex-wife

Joe Giudice asked his fans to pray for his ex-wife Teresa Giudice following her admission to the hospital a day after a report exposed Luis “Louie” Ruelas’ legal troubles from last year.

On Thursday, the former reality star, 49, took to Instagram to share a photo of Teresa, also 49, wearing a face mask while lying in a hospital bed. The “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star had a somber expression in the snap.

“Please pray for Teresa as she’s been admitted to the hospital,” Joe wrote in the caption alongside a broken heart and praying hands emojis. He also provided a link to an article detailing the whole situation.

The Celebuzz article he shared indicated that Teresa got admitted to the hospital for a surgical procedure. The operation went well since she was already recovering from her appendectomy — the surgical removal of the appendix.

A rep for “The Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip” star confirmed via Page Six that Teresa was admitted to the hospital Wednesday night for an “emergency medical procedure.”

“She is in recovery, currently resting, and she thanks everyone for their prayers and well-wishes,” the rep said before adding that the procedure was “non-cosmetic” and Teresa was going to be released “within the next 24 hours.”

Joe and Teresa’s eldest daughter, Gia, also shared in an Instagram Story Thursday afternoon that her mom had been in the emergency room. She asked her fans to pray for Teresa, as per the news outlet.

“Such a trooper. I love you. Pray for a speedy recovery. I love you @teresagiudice,” the 21-year-old wrote.

Teresa’s hospitalization happened a day after Page Six ran a story exposing her fiancé’s legal battles for his company’s alleged illegal business practices.

The daily tabloid obtained copies of three lawsuits filed against Ruelas and his company, Digital Media Solutions (DMS), throughout 2021. All three accused the New Jersey-based businessman and his digital advertising firm of violating the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.

Two of the lawsuits were voluntarily dismissed by their respective plaintiffs, while one remained active even though Ruleas and his firm denied the allegations it contained.

In addition to the complaints, DMS was also accused by Insurance King Agency of “false advertisements” and “copyright infringements” last year. But the company denied the accusations in an October filing.

Both Teresa and her boyfriend have yet to address the legal complaints.
