Manchester United star midfielder Paul Pogba reportedly has agreed to sign fresh terms with the club and the arrival of Bruno Fernandes is being considered to be one of the reasons for the same.

Ever since Fernandes arrived at Old Trafford at the January transfer window, the Red Devils’ form has returned on the track and several reports have claimed that keeping in mind Man Utd’s current fine form, Pogba has agreed to stay with the former champions.

Since September, Pogba has made just two appearances for Man Utd and all this while it looked quite certain that he would leave the former champions for either Real Madrid or Juventus. Making the rumors look almost true, the tensions between Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola and Man Utd had begun to reach the boiling point. However, Pogba’s latest decision could settle things down soon for him and the club.

According to The Athletic, Pogba is undergoing personal coaching sessions with Man Utd’s first-team coach Michael Carrick, separately from the other players. It is understood that the two have worked well together to optimize Pogba’s mobility in his injured ankle along with the task of getting his fitness back.

The ongoing season has been injury-hit for the Frenchman, whose latest injury came during Man Utd’s Boxing Day clash against Newcastle December. Even though the ankle has not been fully tested yet, Pogba is reportedly doing well in the training.

At present, all the top sporting leagues have been suspended due to the pandemic coronavirus. The Premier League is expected to resume on April 4 where Man Utd will get back to action from their No. 5 position in the points table. They are three points away from fourth-placed Chelsea and will look to finish the season on a high note and that would be qualifying for next season’s Champions League.
