It’s been a few months since Theresa Donovan (Jen Lilley) left NBC’s “Days of Our Lives” for the second time, but it’s possible she could be making a return once again.

While promoting her new Hallmark Channel Christmas movie, “Mingle All the Way,” which premieres on Saturday, Lilley spoke with International Business Times about maybe coming back to the soap opera.

The last fans saw her, she’d won full custody of her son, Tate Black (Colin and Kyle Schroeder), and left Brady (Eric Martsolf) behind to move to Los Angeles to help with her sick mother. Theresa’s 2018 storyline lasted only a few months, and Lilley “would be open to” doing something like that again.

“As long as it would be a short arc, just because I do have two kids in diapers right now, which is exhausting,” she told IBT. “But so far, we haven’t been able to line up a schedule because Hallmark’s been keeping me busy.”

Even if the “King of Hearts” singer isn’t able to make it back to “Days of Our Lives” in the near future, Lilley said she’d still like to find other ways to work with that cast again. More specifically, she’d love to reunite with Martsolf, but, this time, on Hallmark.

“He’s such a great guy, such a good actor and I think it would be absolutely on brand with Hallmark,” she said of doing a rom-com on the network with him. “So, I would really hope that [that could happen].”

“Days of Our Lives” airs weekdays on NBC, and “Mingle All the Way” premieres on Hallmark Channel on Saturday at 8 p.m. EST.
