While most retailers are closed on Christmas, many major chains have locations that stay open. From drug stores to Starbucks, there are several companies that won't have their locations closed for the entire holiday.

Here's a breakdown of some of the major retailers that will keep their doors open on Dec. 25 and their truncated hours.

CVS

While it’s unconfirmed if the pharmacy will be open, most CVS stores around the nation will be open. Hours will vary depending on location, but most will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Stores that are usually open 24 hours will follow these temporary hours on Christmas Day.

Rite Aid

Most Rite Aid locations will be open on Christmas, but while many are 24 hours, many will be operating under different business hours, according to its schedule. It's unclear if most Rite Aid locations will have an open Pharmacy.

Starbucks

Most Starbucks locations will be open with fixed hours, a Starbucks spokesperson told Country Living.

Wawa

Just like every other holiday, the popular 24-hour rest stop/gas station is open for the entire day, though some locations may close for a stretch of the day.

Walgreens

A spokesperson told Country Living that most locations will be open during normal business hours on Christmas.

Dollar Tree/Family Dollar

Both of these stores are typically open on every major holiday, including Christmas Day and Christmas Eve. They’ll be open during normal business hours in case anyone needs to pick up some last-minute items. The holiday schedule provides information about their hours and days.

Denny’s

Denny’s is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, according to a press release put out by the restaurant. Customers can either eat-in or order their food-to-go to take home and enjoy in the comfort of PJ’s.

McDonald's

Customers can use the restaurant locator on the McDonald’s website to know if a location is open. Many restaurants will be open, but business hours will vary depending on each location.
