Endeavour completes historic NASA space station mission (PHOTOS)

The mission is complete. Astronauts on the Endeavour space shuttle has placed the final part of a robotic arm onto the International Space Station. The task was completed after logging in over 1,000 assembly hours. The final completion was 12 years in the making since the project started in December 1998. This marks the last spacewalk and flight for the Endeavour.

NASA Space Shuttle Atlantis Final Rollover (PHOTOS)

A Day Out at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (PHOTOS)

NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland, hosted more than 15,000 visitors under gray but rain-free skies on May 14 for a day of fun-filled activities, hands-on demonstrations, entertainment, and food. The Explore@NASA Goddard event was the center’s first open house since 2008.
