Tottenham Vs. Stoke: Where to Watch Live Stream Online, Preview, Team News, Prediction
When and Where: The Premier League clash from White Hart Lane kicks-off at 3.45 p.m. ET. A live stream is available at FoxSoccer2Go, with a subscription.
Preview: Tottenham have elected to go ahead with this fixture despite the trauma experienced by many of the players after witnessing Fabrice Muamba's cardiac arrest on the field on Saturday.
Trying to focus on soccer after such an awful incident is incredibly tough and it is difficult to know how the players will react.
But, for many, getting onto the pitch could be a respite from the images going through the heads of those who witnessed the shocking scenes.
Dealing with strictly the soccer-side of the match, Tottenham will be looking to get their league campaign back on track after three successive defeats that have threatened their spot in the top four.
For Stoke, while there is no danger of relegation, they will be eager to improve on their current 14th spot before the end of the season.
In their fourth season in the Premier League and with some serious money spent, the Potters should be aiming for a top-half finish.
One of those players whom Stoke spent a large sum on is Peter Crouch, who signed from Tottenham last summer. The rangy striker will be eager to show his worth on Wednesday against the club that discarded him upon signing Emmanuel Adebayor
Team News: There will be late fitness tests for Spurs pair Adebayor and Ledley King, who are struggling with hamstring and knee injuries, respectively. Aaron Lennon will definitely miss out with a hamstring problem of his own.
Stoke will be missing striker Ricardo Fuller for the second of his three-game suspension, following the Jamaican's stamp on Chelsea's Branislav Ivanovic. Asmir Begovic will come back between the posts after Thomas Sorensen was given a run-out in the FA Cup against Liverpool at the weekend.
Prediction: Tottenham know the importance of returning to winning ways against Stoke if they are to avoid risking undoing all of their good work this season by missing out on an automatic Champions League place.
Stoke have once again proved this season that they pose much more of a threat at the Brittania, where they beat Spurs 2-1 earlier this season, and Tottenham should get the win at White Hart Lane.
Tottenham 3-1 Stoke
