"Game of Thrones" may have won the award for Outstanding Drama Series, but Tracy Morgan was the big winner at the 2015 Primetime Emmy Awards. Appearing on the Emmy stage for the first time since a car accident more than a year ago sidelined him with a brain injury, Morgan drew a standing ovation from the crowd.

For the final award of the night, host Andy Samberg surprised the audience by announcing that the presenter would be none other than "30 Rock" star Tracy Morgan. A June 2014 car crash injured the comedian and three others, and killed one of his longtime friends. At the 2014 Emmys, host Jimmy Kimmel had promised fans Morgan would be at the 2015 ceremony. Sunday Morgan made good on Kimmel's promise.

The former "Saturday Night Live" cast member thanked his friends and family for their support as many of his peers, including "30 Rock" creator Tina Fey, teared up in the audience. Morgan also got a few laughs, joking he felt like himself and, thus, "a lot of women at the after party were going to get pregnant," a riff on one of his well known "30 Rock" lines.
