  • Chelsea is pulling out all the stops to bring Achraf Hakimi to Stamford Bridge
  • The Blues are ready to let go of Palmieri and Christensen in exchange for Hakimi
  • Chelsea is also expected to go after a striker this summer transfer window

Chelsea is determined to acquire the services of Achraf Hakimi, and it appears that the club is willing to give up two players for the 22-year-old Moroccan.

Hakimi has flourished in Serie A, scoring seven goals and eight assists since debuting for Inter Milan.

After winning the UEFA Champions League, the Blues have no plans of slowing down as far as acquiring new talent.

Hakimi is a big name that Chelsea can add, someone who has established himself as one of the best in the world.

With Inter Milan struggling financially, some players such as Hakimi may have to be given up.

From all the players in their lineup, he is seen as the player where I Nerazzurri can get a good price for.

The main priority of the Blues is to take in another striker. However, adding a winger in the person of Hakimi makes sense.

Although Chelsea has Reece James and Cesar Azpilicueta, Hakimi could be a better option.

Proof of this is what he has established for himself with Inter Milan, one of the key players that helped them win the Serie A title.

To somehow tilt the tide in their favor, the Blues are reportedly willing to offer two players in return.

Emerson Palmieri and Andreas Christensen are two players that Inter Milan fancies. Both have seen a dip in playing time, so adding them could further bolster the chances of the Blues on Hakimi.

But Chelsea is not the only one racing for the services of Hakimi. Paris Saint-Germain made a £56.1 million ($79.51 million) transfer offer, numbers that the Blues matched per The Athletic.

Aside from Palmieri and Christensen, there are other players that could be dealt out. That list includes Callum Hudson-Odoi and Tino Livramento.

Hudson-Odoi has fallen out of favor with Thomas Tuchel, while Livramento’s spot could be lost if the Blues close the deal to acquire the Moroccan international.

Other than Hakimi, the Blues are expected to go after a striker this summer transfer window as well. The name of Romelu Lukaku has been floated, but Inter Milan reiterated that he is not for sale.

The same holds for Erling Haaland, who Borussia Dortmund plans to keep for at least another season.
