  • Arsenal plans to acquire Dusan Vlahovic are unlikely to happen this January
  • Dusan Vlahovic makes it clear that he controls his football destiny
  • Mikel Arteta could inherit another player that may give him problems

Arsenal is one of the multiple teams who are interested in taking in Dusan Vlahovic of ACF Fiorentina.

The Gunners want him as early as this month, but their top target is in no rush to leave Stadio Artemio Franchi and wants to take control of his future.

The Lilllies are believed to be open to selling the 21-year-old striker likely to cash in now than risk getting nothing in return.

There are suggestions that a bid of £60 million ($82 million) has been made for the Belgian, but there is no official word on this for now.

Unfortunately, all these murmurs may have been dashed with Vlahovic allegedly telling Fiorentina that he will not immediately agree to a move just because the club wants to make a close a quick sale, 90Min reported.

In all, it appears Vlahovic will not cooperate in any immediate sale and wants to have his say.

Furthermore, it appears he favors a move out of Fiorentina in the summer rather than this January transfer window.

Although Arsenal has been mentioned as the top destination for the Belgian, other teams are also interested in his services. That list includes Tottenham, Manchester City, Juventus and possibly Paris Saint-Germain.

If a move for Vlahovic falls apart, this could force the hand of Arsenal to look elsewhere.

But then again, it could be ideal for them since they are now getting a better picture of the stiker's personality as a whole.

The fact that Vlahovic cannot be easily moved without his consent may be a bad sign.

But if he does want to dictate where he plays, there is no telling how he would fit in at the Emirates Stadium.

Club manager Mikel Arteta has had to work with several players who did not blend in with his plans thus far.

If this alleged preference of wanting to dictate his future is any indication, it could be a sign that the Gunners may potentially acquire someone who would be difficult to manage, TBR suggested.
