  • Team management is overhauling its lineup to help Conte bring the team to a new level

Tottenham hopes to address its woeful performance by changing managers.

The Spurs sacked Nuno Espirito Santo after just four months and are reportedly nearing a deal to sign Antonio Conte to take his place.

Most know that each time there is a change in coach, personnel changeups are expected to follow next.

In the case of Tottenham, Conte’s imminent coming may rekindle or boost their chances on a notable target in Dusan Vlahovic of Fiorentina.

According to SportsMediaSet, the Hotspur will ramp up its chase for the 21-year-old as they try to beef up its lineup to aid Conte in leading the club to the next level.

Initially, Fiorentina was believed to be asking roughly £77 million ($105 million) for the Serbian striker.

Conte is said to be a big fan of the Serbian player, yet another asset that could help turn the misfortunes of Tottenham.

Should they be successful, Vlahovic will be added firepower for the Spurs who already have Harry Kane in tow.

But with speculations that the 28-year-old forward may leave at some point, Vlahovic could be insurance to make sure that the Spurs do not end up empty-handed.

Vlahovic’s contract with Fiorentina will expire in June 2023, and multiple teams have expressed interest in the Serbian.

Aside from Tottenham, other clubs keeping tabs on his situation include Manchester City and Real Madrid.

Tottenham is expected to first address its vacant manager position.

Following their loss to Manchester United, the Spurs sacked Nuno four months after taking over from Jose Mourinho.

Aside from Nuno, his coaching staff that included Ian Cathro, Rui Barbosa and Antonio Dias were also relieved.

Nuno called the shots for just 17 games for Tottenham across all competitions. He managed to only register nine wins, a draw, and seven losses.

Tottenham is already in advanced talks with Conte, and the contract pitch may reportedly run until June 2023--per The Guardian's report.

Conte is reportedly set to fly to England, and an official announcement may be announced soon.
