Truth About Ben Affleck, Janina Gavankar 'Getting Super-Cozy' After Shauna Sexton Split

Ben Affleck has been “getting his flirt on” with Janina Gavankar on the set of their new movie "Torrance" and the actor was seen "getting super-cozy" with his co-star, Woman’s Day Australia claimed. However, Gossip Cop debunked the rumor, calling it "made-up."

A Woman’s Day Australia source said: “Ben seems smitten and hangs off Janina’s every word. He’s going out of his way to impress her, and there’s a lot of talk on set about their connection.”

The outlet also cited a photo of them getting close; however, Gossip Cop said the image only showed the two stars chatting.

Earlier this month, Affleck began working on the film in which he plays a former basketball star. Gavankar plays the character of Affleck’s ex-wife. The Woman’s Day Australia source claimed the two were slowly developing a romance on set.

However, the latest rumor which comes weeks after the 46-year-old actor ended his fling with the 22-year-old playboy model Shauna Sexton, which lasted throughout his 40 days at an in-patient rehab treatment center.

“There was nothing to split from as it has been casual,” a friend of Affleck told People.

According to reports, Affleck was focusing on his recovery after completing a 40-day treatment in rehab for his alcohol addiction.

People magazine, a much more reliable celebrity news, reported Affleck “will date in the future, but for now his focus is on his sobriety, family and his next project.” Affleck’s representative also confirmed to Gossip Cop he was not “getting cozy” with Gavankar, and even joked it “didn’t take long” for the tabloids to come up with the premise.

Earlier this month, there were rumors Affleck was dating “another mystery blonde” in addition to Sexton. However, Gossip Cop debunked the report saying there was no truth to the article.

Meanwhile, there were also rumors that Affleck was moving back into Jennifer Garner’s guesthouse following his recent stint in rehab. Gossip Cop debunked the report by OK! magazine stating Affleck has taken this step in order to focus on his sobriety and be present for their children.

In August, Gossip Cop had debunked another report that falsely claimed Affleck and Garner were back together after a supposed “marriage and rehab ultimatum.” The magazine claimed Garner had decided to give the marriage a second chance and once he was sober "they’ll renew their vows in a private, yet romantic, ceremony and become a family again.”
