Jennifer Lopez has reportedly been hooking up with ex Ben Affleck behind boyfriend Alex Rodriguez's back, according to an outrageous story. But this claim was recently proven to be completely false.

NW recently put out a story claiming Lopez and Affleck have reunited and kept in touch with each other. A so-called source told the tabloid that Lopez reportedly reached out to Jennifer Garner's ex-husband regarding a business deal, and they apparently continued seeing each other in secret since then.

The NW report further claimed that Lopez and Affleck have kept their supposed reunion away from the public eye by meeting up in private houses and "discreet" restaurants. The singer reportedly wants to replace A-Rod with another "high profile" boyfriend as she enjoys the attention and "status boost" that comes with having a big star as a partner.

As for Affleck, the questionable tipster said that the "Justice League" actor rekindling his romance with Lopez is giving him an "ego boost" since his ex-wife, Garner, has already moved on with new boyfriend John Miller. The unnamed source added that Affleck and Lopez are apparently looking to co-star in a movie so that they can spend more time together.

However, Gossip Cop has debunked this report, calling it "pure fiction." The outlet confirmed from Affleck's rep that the report is completely fabricated and the actor-director has not reunited with Lopez.

Aside from this, Lopez and Rodriguez's relationship has been going strong. On Sunday, the couple was even photographed heading to the gym together in Miami Beach.

Contrary to the split rumors, it seems Lopez and her boyfriend are in for the long haul as they are reportedly planning to move into a bigger love nest. A-Rod has listed the 4,000-square-foot apartment in 432 Park Avenue they bought in March 2018 for $17.5 million. Lopez, meanwhile, is selling her penthouse for $27 million. The apartment overlooking Madison Square Park is located at the Whitman building on East 26th Street.

"They love the building, but when their kids are all together, it’s too small. They need something bigger for the family," a source told Page Six of their plans.

Lopez also has no complaints about her life right now. “I’ve got two amazing kids and a great boyfriend. I don’t have everything figured out, and everything isn’t perfect. But I feel very proud that with all the things I’ve gone through in my personal life, I’m still optimistic and hopeful,” she told Harpers Bazaar in its February 2019 issue.
