Whether the rumors about Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton feuding are true or not, there’s at least one happy memory of them together that they can think back to.

Christmas is right around the corner, and it’s still up in the air whether Middleton and Prince William will spend the holiday with Markle and Prince Harry, or if they’ll opt to celebrate with the Duchess of Cambridge’s family instead.

Despite their 2018 holiday plans still being uncertain, the whole group spent Christmas together last year, and it turned out to be a great time for everyone involved.

“They really loved Christmas and all had a wonderful time,” a source told People. “I think the two women got on — they are definitely not best friends, but it was a really special time for them all to spend together.”

While the two might not be the greatest of friends, they still managed to get along for the 2017 holiday. It seems things might have gotten shakier for their relationship since then, but they’re making it work because they are still sisters-in-law, see each other often and even live on the same estate. Although, that last part won’t be the case soon.

The Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry, who are expecting their first child in the spring of 2019, are moving out of Kensington Palace shortly and will be taking over Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.

Pregnant Markle and her husband are ready to have some space from the rest of their family and are looking forward to their new home.
