Apart from Microsoft’s Lumia devices, two new handsets with Windows 10 on board will apparently be released in 2015. Microsoft

Microsoft’s Windows 10 for desktops and tablets will reportedly be made available to the public starting June 29. However, Windows 10 for smartphones/mobiles will apparently be released later, notes Phone Arena. Microsoft will unveil its Lumia range of handsets right after the OS release. But then, there are other OEMs that will be offering handsets running on Windows 10 out of the box. One such company is Cherry Mobile, which is apparently a major smartphone and tablet maker in Philippines.

According to the company’s Facebook update picked up by Windows Central, Cherry Mobile will introduce two new Windows 10 handsets in the near future and they are: Alpha Prime 5 and Alpha Prime 4. In any case, the company has not announced the exact release date or the price of the handsets.

As far as the key Alpha Prime 5 specifications go, the device will reportedly come with a 5.0-inch display, however, the screen resolution is unknown at this point. Under the hood, the device will be powered by a quad-core (Qualcomm Snapdragon 210) processor, running at 1.1 GHz and will be backed by 1 GB of RAM. When it comes to camera configuration, the Alpha Prime 5 will apparently sport an 8 MP rear-facing unit and a 2 MP front-facing shooter for selfies. Meanwhile, the device will come equipped with 8 GB of internal storage capacity. Lastly, this smarphone will reportedly support 4G LTE.

The Alpha Prime 4, on the other hand, will apparently feature a pocket-friendly 4.0-inch display. However, under the hood, the device will be powered by the same (Qualcomm Snapdragon 210) processor unit seen in its bigger sibling, the Alpha Prime 5. But then, the handset will come equipped with only 512 MB of RAM and the native storage will apparently be a meager 4 GB unit. Speaking of camera, the Alpha Prime 4 will house a 5 MP rear-facing unit, in addition to a 2 MP front-facing snapper.
