Jose Aldo will defend his UFC featherweight crown and his national pride against Chan Sung Jung on Saturday night in UFC 163 in Rio Di Janeiro, Brazil.

Nicknamed “Scarface”, the 26-year-old Brazilian international has four successful title defenses since he was promoted from WEC in 2010. The majority of those fights went the full five rounds, with the first round knockout of Chad Mendes, also in Rio, being the lone exception.

Originally hailing from South Korea, Sung Jung earned his title shot with impressive victories in his first three UFC fights, with two submissions and one knockout. He last took out Dustin Poirier with a d’arce choke back in the fourth round in May of last year, which earned him the 2012 Fight of the Year award.

The bout should be a perfect balance of power and patient submission strategy. Eight of the “Korean Zombie’s” 13 victories have come via submission, while Aldo has 13 knockouts to his credit.

Aldo, ranked the No. 3 pound-for-pound MMA fighter in the world by Sherdog, has won 15 consecutive matches, with his last loss coming in 2005 via a second round rear-naked choke from Luciano Azevedo.

Both fighters made their weight and stand at 5-foot-7, but Sung Jung holds the reach advantage by four with a 74 inch reach. Aldo can try to get in close for his quick blows, but that could leave him vulnerable to a hold from Sung Jung.

The main card starts at 10 p.m. ET/ 7 p.m. PT, and you can order the pay-per-view event on UFC’s official site here. Their feed can be watched online or on television.
