WWE icon Triple H says he would love to have UFC greats Daniel Cormier and Conor McGregor in the pro wrestling organization. The 50-year-old bared his excitement as he hinted on talks with D.C. while luring the Notorious to a potentially huge payday by agreeing to the blockbuster crossover.

Triple H, now a top executive in the WWE, opened about the possibility with TMZ Sports on Saturday.

"I love Daniel. We've obviously talked a lot in the past. We've had conversations about him doing stuff with us in the past whether that's in-ring or whether that's commentary or doing different things,” he said.

Triple H is aware Cormier still has one more fight left in the Octagon before retirement, and it sounds the wrestling legend is willing to wait as he said that a part of the ongoing negotiation is not to be in conflict with the UFC.

"I think we'd love to do something with him if the time is right -- obviously, respectful to UFC and to Dana and everything else,” he added. "We'd love to chat with him and we have an open relationship as far as communication so I'm sure shortly we will when he figures out what he wants to do."

Speaking about McGregor, meanwhile, Triple H sounded ecstatic just with the thought of having the Irish superstar bring his natural fight antics to the McMahon family-owned entertainment business.

"I think that Conor McGregor versus Vince McMahon with that Billion Dollar Walk on the line?! I mean, I think that's a match made in heaven!” he exclaimed.

Should Triple H’s plan pan out, then it would be McGregor’s second crossover to another combat sport. The Notorious cashed in big after bringing his talents to boxing to face Floyd Mayweather Jr., who eventually defeated him via a 10th round TKO in their Paradise, Nevada bout in 2017.

The 31-year-old just recently teased fight fans after responding to UFC legend Anderson Silva, who challenged him to a mega bout inside the Octagon.

"I accept,” McGregor posted, captioning a photo of him at the Brazilian great. "I'm afraid of no one. I'll go up and fight at any weight."

For his swansong, on the other hand, the 41-year-old Cormier reportedly is targeting a rematch against Stipe Miocic, whom he defeated via a first-round KO in their first fight in 2018.
