International Business Times poll on major U.S. economic releases scheduled for release during the week of Feb. 19, 2019.

This week's light economic calendar carries data on durable goods orders, weekly jobless claims and existing home sales. Orders for durable goods in December is expected to see a rise of 2.1 percent compared to a gain of 0.8 percent in the prior month. Weekly jobless claims are expected to drop to 227,000 in the latest week from 239,000 reported in the prior week. Marginal improvement is expected in existing home sales for January, with 5.06 million units sold compared to 4.99 million units sold in December.

Investors will also look forward to minutes from the recent meeting of Federal Open Market Committee scheduled for release Wednesday. The central bank left interest rates unchanged at its first two-day policy meeting of 2019 held on January 29-30.
