U.S. Men's national team defender Miles Robinson was arrested Saturday after he allegedly refused to pay for a $5 liquor shot at a bar in Atlanta.

According to an incident report from the Cobb County Police Department, Robinson was arrested on one count of misdemeanor theft by taking. The Major League Soccer (MLS) star was also given a criminal trespass warning. He was released on a $150 bond after the incident, Yahoo Sports reported.

Robinson took a shot of liquor at sports bar PBR Atlanta and refused to pay the waitress. The police report stated that a bartender alerted management, requesting police to escort Robinson from the property and be "criminally trespassed," ESPN reported.

The Atlanta United center-back took a shot of liquor at sports bar PBR Atlanta and refused to pay the waitress. The report further stated that police told Robinson that he could avoid arrest by paying the $5 tab and that he declined while responding: "All this over five dollars, bro..."

"Detective Goduto then explained to him that all he had to do was pay his bill and that if he did not pay the bill the manager wanted to press charges for theft. Robinson once again stated all this was over five dollars. Robinson did not indicate that he was going to pay the bill," the report further read.

The 25-year-old Robinson accused the bartender of being racist.

"Robinson stated, 'You only want to listen to the racist bartender, you aren't going to listen to me,'" the report read further.

Robinson also "stated that the situation was because he was the only black male inside of the bar."

While Robinson has not publicly opened up on his arrest, Atlanta United have confirmed it in a statement.

"We are aware of a recent misdemeanor arrest involving Miles Robinson. We are continuing to gather all information related to the incident and will not have further comment at this time," the club's statement read.
