Oh, how quickly Scheana Shay has learned.

The "Vanderpump Rules" star quickly changed her tune after receiving a ton of backlash about her take on the current COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.

"Legit did not realize the severity of this all til I got home, tried to get groceries, researched & spoke to several people today," she explained in a tweet on March 16. "I am not a person who regularly watches the news. I do not go on social media to read the news. It’s all just so negative."

"I’ve never been above admitting when I’m wrong. I am thankful for the moments from people trying to tear me down bc I can learn from my mistakes and better myself," she added in a subsequent tweet.

Prior to realizing that the global pandemic is one that should be taken seriously, Scheana shared a public invitation to her friends who could work from home to quarantine with her at her Palm Springs home and was quickly met with a lot of criticism.

At first, the 34-year-old reality star stood her ground, despite the number of social media users who tried to educate her on the topic.

"I will continue to live my life in Palm Springs or MDR w my friends and not live it in complete isolation or fear. Simple as that," Scheana wrote. "Call me "ignorant" but I’m not gonna stop living!"

"Vanderpump Rules" airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
