VIDEO: Wild Brawl, Gun Fired After MMA Event

Video surfaced Tuesday of a wild brawl that erupted at a mixed-martial-arts event in Lake Worth Beach, Florida. The one-minute and 10-second video was obtained by TMZ.

Chairs were tossed and punches were thrown Saturday at the RIZE Fighting Championship event. Footage also showed a man reaching into a bag and then aiming a gun upwards and pulling the trigger. According to authorities, at least two shots were fired.

The brawl happened at Bamboo Room, an outdoor blues venue, after the conclusion of the last MMA fight.

“For 20 seconds everything’s going back and forth it was intense,” Bamboo Room co-owner Darren Cummings told local media.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office are investigating the incident and seeking the identity of the shooter.

A few people were reportedly treated for minor injuries.

“It was kind of scary for a lot of people we were definitely in shock to see something like that happen,” Armando Gonzalez, President of RIZE Fighting Championship, told WBPF, an ABC affiliate near West Palm Beach.

The main event was slated for a bantamweight title fight between Alexis Fernandez and Filipe Valentim.

“For an event that went so well to end like that it’s kind of frustrating,” Gonzalez said. “Hopefully the authorities will take that man into custody.”
