Wall Street Rises after EU Deal, Corporate Views Weigh
(REUTERS) - Stocks rose on Friday after EU leaders agreed on measures that partially address the region's debt crisis, but downbeat outlooks from DuPont and Texas Instruments Inc. capped gains.
The Dow Jones industrial average gained 68.95 points, or 0.57 percent, to 12,066.65. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index gained 7.72 points, or 0.63 percent, to 1,242.07. The Nasdaq Composite Index gained 12.16 points, or 0.47 percent, to 2,608.54.
