One of the bright spots for West Ham United is the rise of Declan Rice as an efficient defensive midfielder. With teams such as Chelsea gaining interest in his services, WWE icon Triple H encourages Rice to decline any offers.

Throughout the career of Rice, he’s been an efficient player on the pitch with how agile he moves on the field. In 100 appearances, the 21-year-old has been a tremendous source of energy for the club, as he’s known for his tackling and ball interception. To add to these, he’s also managed to net three goals and tally four assists.

The rumors of Chelsea keeping Rice within their radar sparked Triple H to call out the young star to consider his choices.

"You know it's a new season, a new time, a new launching point for us, NXT UK on BT Sport, but for many others as well including West Ham. So I have a message, I have a message for one Declan Rice," Triple H said on social media and picked up by Goal.com.

As the current executive vice president of global talent strategy and development, Triple H has been a big figure in developing young superstars into better athletes for the wrestling industry.

"Declan you've got big decisions ahead of you and I understand that, and far be it for me to tell you what to do, but I'd like to give you a point of view that sometimes in life there are more important things,” Triple H continued.

The former 14-time world champion added that it’s important to leave a legacy and expand on what they currently have for years to come.

“Build your franchise, build your legacy, to become something more, to become the one and only, the first Declan Rice.

The wrestling icon also added that it’s important for Rice to succeed and be a hero on his own terms.

"Stay with the people that brought you to the dance, stay with West Ham and become the hero, become the champion, become everything that they all know Declan Rice can be," Triple H concluded.

It will be interesting to monitor if the crafty Rice takes the advice of the cerebral assassin and apply it on the field in the near future.
