Jennifer Garner was “so sad” after her split from Ben Affleck.

In June 2015, Affleck and Garner decided to end their 10-year marriage by announcing their split just a day after their 10th wedding anniversary. It has been four years and the exes remain amicable as they co-parent their three children: Violet, 13, Seraphina, 10, and Samuel, seven.

Garner never said anything against her ex-husband. However, she confessed that she was very sad following their separation.

“When the earth shakes, you go to what you know from childhood,” Garner told Vanity Fair in a 2016 interview.

“All of a sudden I’m sitting down at the piano. I went back to church. I sat down and wrote bad poetry all day because I was so sad. I needed a dance class; it reminded me of my fight scenes [in ‘Alias’] and how I missed that. I feel the need to be physical and I feel the need to punch someone. You know what I look forward to? I look forward to getting past the pity stage. I look forward to just having a sense of humor.”

Garner shared that a fellow airline passenger asked to take her out for a cup of coffee and she declined but thanked him for asking. Garner was asked about dating again and at the time, she was hesitant. However, she shared what she wanted in her next partner.

“It’s just that [from] everyone that I know that is dating it just seems, well…. Men don’t call anymore…. I want flowers; I don’t want to text,” she said.

In the same interview, Garner said that it was not Affleck’s job to make her happy. She was already contented that they’re completely in line when it comes to their kids.

Just recently, Garner graced the cover of InStyle. The “Peppermint” star looked gorgeous on the cover which she shared on Instagram. She also shared a short clip of her revealing her thoughts about pregnancy and nursing.

Garner said that it was “boring.” She added that she had no plans having more babies. “Never again,” she said.

At present, Garner is dating John Miller. Previous rumors claimed that they were already expecting their first baby. Apparently, the rumors were not true since the “Miracles from Heaven” star does not plan to get pregnant again.
