KEY POINTS

  • Elimination Chamber is set to take place in Saudi Arabia
  • It is the 12th edition of the WWE event
  • Bobby Lashley will fight to defend his WWE world title

The Elimination Chamber 2022 is the next premium live event in WWE's calendar.

After the Royal Rumble did not go well with the WWE fans, the company is hoping to turn it around at the Elimination Chamber ahead of the mega event, WrestleMania 38.

The WWE Elimination Chamber is scheduled to take place on Feb. 19.

As part of WWE's 10-year agreement with Saudi Arabia's government, the Elimination Chamber 2022 will take place at the Jeddah Superdome. The upcoming event, which is the 12th edition of the competition, will see wrestlers from WWE's two brands – RAW and SmackDown – compete for various titles.

The event will begin at 8 p.m. local time (12 p.m.EST). There will also be an hour-long kickoff show before that.

One of the interesting matches drafted for the Elimination Chamber is between two-time Universal Champion Bill Goldberg and the current holder of the title Roman Reigns.

It was previously reported that Goldberg has only one match remaining on his WWE contract, which apparently would end after the fight against Reigns in Saudi Arabia.
