Where To Find McDonald’s Saweetie Merchandise Collection Following Combo Meal Launch

Days after launching the Saweetie combo meal, McDonald’s (MCD) has dropped a merchandise collection with the hip-hop superstar, offering an array of sweatshirts, T-shirts and hats for fans.

The Saweetie combo meal began appearing at McDonald’s restaurants on Aug. 9, featuring a Big Mac, four-piece Chicken McNuggets, medium fries, medium Sprite, and Tangy BBQ and Sweet ‘N Sour dipping sauces.

The Saweetie combo meal will be on sale at participating McDonald’s until Sept. 5.

The new McDonald’s x Saweetie merchandise collection goes on sale Monday and is described as an “iced-out streetwear” unisex collection that is inspired by the singer’s “love of air brush.” It is comprised of more than 10 color designs that symbolize some of her favorite things, including volleyball, her West Coast roots, and, of course, McDonald’s.

“Now ya'll know I stay dipped in the latest fashion, so it was only right I drop some icy merch to celebrate my McDonald's collab,” Saweetie said in a statement. “There are so many oversized pieces that I love – like my favorites: the Saweetie 'N Sour Hoodie and Fry Tees.”

To purchase the collection, fans can visit icybysaweetie.com at 10 a.m. ET on Monday. Prices on the merchandise range from $18 to $128 in sizes small to 2XL.

This isn’t the first venture with a celebrity for McDonald’s as the fast-food chain also partnered with rapper Travis Scott, reggaeton singer J Balvin, and K-pop band BTS on combo meals. The partnerships resulted in merchandise collections, except in the case of J Balvin, whose collection was plagued with production issues and was eventually canceled.

McDonald’s has been capitalizing on the star power of singers as it looks to bring in a younger generation of customers. Saweetie, who is known for the hit song “Best Friend,” has a fan base of 12.3 million followers on Instagram.

As of Monday at 1:21 p.m. ET, shares of McDonald's were trading at $239.23, up 74 cents, or 0.31%.
