Finally, Ed Sheeran has confirmed that he is indeed married to his long-time love, Cherry Seaborn. The announcement was made clear in the lyrics of his album “No.6 Collaborations Project,” which was released on Friday.

The 28-year-old singer artfully sang lyrics such as “Watch how the lyrics in this song might get twisted/My wife wears red but looks better without the lipstick,” in the song “Remember the Name,” featuring Eminem and 50 Cent, giving listeners a clue about his personal life.

Sheeran told iHeart Radio that he wrote the lyrics to the song before he got married to Seaborn, but knew they would be married by the time the song dropped. Other instances of Sheeran hinting about his marriage to Seaborn can be found in the songs "Best Part of Me," "Cross Me,” and “I Don’t Care.”
