There's no denying Adele has been putting in the work to achieve her slender new figure. The "Hello" singer looked amazing when she popped up at Drake's birthday party on Oct. 24, but some of her friends are worried her healthy habit has become a bit unhealthy.

"Nobody disputes she’s done brilliantly to lose this weight, but now it’s getting obsessive," an insider told Radar Online.

"If she left it as she is now that would be fine, but she’s talking about losing a bunch more and really pushing herself to get the body of an athlete," they continued, adding, "She’s eating bird-sized portions and working out non-stop in the gym – often up to three times a day!"

"Fitness has turned into a real OCD obsession," the insider went on. "But she can’t seem to do moderation at all."

Whether Adele's new habits have become over the top is still to be determined. However, there is no denying that working out has become an outlet for the 31-year-old. In her Instagram caption above the singer writes, "I used to cry but now I sweat." It seems to be a possible hint that she uses exercise as an emotional release.

The "Someone Like You" singer's slimmer figure comes amid her divorce from Simon Konecki. The couple was together for seven years and share 7-year-old son Angelo. Representatives for Adele announced their split in April 2019.

Six months following the heartbreaking news, it appears the mother of one has moved on. Recent rumors romantically link her to British rapper Skepta. Although the rumors are recent, sources claim that the two artists have been communicating with each other since her split from Konecki.

It may be a while before Adele confirms any of her romantic relationships, but there is one thing fans can, hopefully, count on from the singer - new music. If the rumors are true, she'll have a new single out on Nov. 8.
