DJ Khaled broke his silence on a photo he recently shared online of Kanye West, in which the rapper is still wearing his wedding ring amid his divorce from Kim Kardashian.

The "Wild Thoughts" artist shared a snap on Instagram Wednesday of the Yeezy founder, showing West with his arms up in the air and his eyes closed as he enjoyed the songs of the former's new album, "Khaled Khaled." After it was posted, eagle-eyed fans immediately noticed that West was still sporting his wedding band on his left ring finger despite the fact that Kardashian had filed for divorce from him in February.

Khaled gave a simple explanation behind West wearing his wedding ring in the snap, telling Entertainment Tonight, "First of all, God bless him and his family, remember this was a while ago, and when I say a while ago, like, when I was first starting to create my album."

"And I was just playing him song ideas I had so this was long, not too long ago, this was like way before, you know, all that and I want to send my love to him and his family and his kids, you know what I mean? God bless him and his whole family, you know?" he continued.

Khaled went on to reveal how West surprised him by making a stop at his house unannounced.

"One of my team members knocked on the door, 'Yo, Khaled, Mr. West is in your backyard,' so I go to my backyard and he's eating scrambled eggs with ketchup because he asked my chef to make them and some vegan bacon," the "Wish Wish" artist said.

"And we was just kicking it, catching a vibe, and catching up and he gave me a surprise visit. We ended up going into my studio of my house and we just ended up playing each other music. ... And there was just a vibe, you know what I'm saying? It was just a vibe and, like, you know, I was grateful to have a great conversation with him but at the same time hear some of his music, and he heard some of my music," he recalled.

West and the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star ended their six-year marriage earlier this year, with Kardashian filing for divorce on Feb. 19. She requested joint legal and physical custody of their children and cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split.

West and Kardashian, who tied the knot in May 2014, share four children together: North West, 7, Saint West, 5, Chicago West, 3, and Psalm West, 20 months.

The divorce filing came after months of private turmoil between the rapper and his estranged wife, an unnamed source told E! News.

"It's gotten to the point where they haven't spent time together as a married couple in months," the insider said. "They've seen each other for the sake of the kids but have been living separately. Kim knows the marriage is over. She's known for a while."
