Relationships aren't all sunshine and rainbows. Just ask "The Real Housewives of Orange County" newbie Braunwyn Windham-Burke.

The mother of seven got unbelievably candid about her marriage during an episode of "The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 14 After Show" on Tuesday. After being asked about her co-star Gina Kirschenheiter's complicated situation with her husband, Braunwyn opened up about a trying time of her own.

"Sean and I almost got divorced," Braunwyn confessed. "I cheated on Sean. We separated."

"He was with someone else too," she continued. "We were in two different homes. I went to Hawaii. I took the kids. I enrolled them in school. I told Sean I was done."

The blonde went on to explain that it was her husband's time-consuming job that kept him away for "25 days a month" that led to her infidelity. But it was Sean's grand gesture that led to the couple rekindling.

"He sold his shares and walked away and he became a stay-at-home-dad for like eight years. He said, 'I would rather choose you guys than my work. That’s when I decided to give it another chance," Braunwyn shared.

"We put in the work and then we came out better for it. We acknowledged where we were, how we got there, and what we wanted," she said. "I mean, for us, just us no one else, it was the best thing that ever happened."

"The Real Housewives of Orange County" airs Tuesdays on Bravo at 9 PM ET.
