Pippa Middleton and her husband James Matthews welcomed their firstborn son last year. But until today, no information about the baby’s christening has been released.

Jess Sheldon, a journalist for Express, revealed that Middleton and Matthews’ son Arthur was born in October. This means that it has already been three months since the baby’s birth.

Kate Middleton, who gave birth to Prince Louis on April 23, 2018, had her youngest son christened three months later. It is possible that Middleton and Matthews’ son will be christened in the coming weeks. However, the journalist said that it is also possible that details about the event will be kept under wraps.

Details of the christening of the Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William’s kids were made known to the public because they are members of the royal family. Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are all heirs to the throne as well. After Prince William retires as King, Prince George will take over the throne.

Prince George was born on July 22, 2013, and his christening was held at the Chapel Royal at St. James’s Palace in London on Oct. 23, 2013. Princess Charlotte was born on May 2, 2015, and her christening was held at St. Mary Magdalene Church on July 5, 2015.

Based on the christening dates of the three royal children, it seems that waiting for three months to have a baby baptized is not a royal tradition. Princess Charlotte was baptized just two months after her birth.

In related news, Prince George and Princess Charlotte made headlines this week after the way they’re being raised by their nanny, Maria Borrallo, was revisited. Louise Heren, the author of “Nanny in a Book,” told Mirror that Borrallo believes in the importance of giving the young royals a normal life.

“Given what we have seen of Catherine when she is out in public, she’s very hands on. I imagine her relationship with Maria is very close and they collaborate greatly on the care of the children,” she said.

Borrallo received her training from the prestigious Norland College, the country’s top training center for childcare.
