“World of Dance” host Jenna Dewan Tatum recently graced the launch of the Havaianas Mommy & Me flip-flops collection sponsored by Baby2Baby charity.

While there, the actress-dancer spoke with E! News about the struggles of being a working mom. “For me, it’s always a balancing act and learning and perfecting the balancing act is the toughest part. For me, with work, it’s interesting because it will be really, really busy and then I’ll have a little bit more time where it isn’t quite as busy, so you have a little bit of time where balancing that is easier. She’s pretty good now because she understands that now,” she said.

Dewan Tatum added that she typically invests in spending time with her daughter, Everly, so she could feel much better while working the next day. At present, the “Step Up” actress is involved in NBC’s newest hit dance reality TV competition, which premiered on Tuesday, May 30. “World of Dance” instantly became a hit among viewers, and it was dubbed as the highest-rated summer premiere to date.

However, some viewers of the show were not pleased with the fact that Dewan Tatum had very little to no air time in the pilot episode, according to TV Line. The professional dancer was only featured in some parts of the show. She was typically spotted with the family members or loved ones of the contestants who auditioned on the show.

But even though Dewan Tatum wasn’t heavily featured in the pilot, the 36-year-old actress still celebrated the success of “World of Dance” with her husband, Channing Tatum. The happy couple grabbed breakfast at the Sweet Butter Kitchen in Studio City, California the day after the premiere.

Meanwhile, the second episode for “World of Dance” will air on Tuesday, June 6 at 10 p.m. EDT. All of the dancers who advanced to the duels will be performing in the coming weeks. But on Tuesday, a slew of new acts will be facing judges Jennifer Lopez, Derek Hough and Ne-Yo in the qualifiers. On the 10th and final episode, one dancer will be named as the winner and will bring home the $1 million grand prize.
