After two games of both the American League Championship Series and the National League Championship Series, there is one notable change in the 2019 World Series betting odds. The Houston Astros and New York Yankees are no longer considered to be the two most likely MLB champions.

Washington has jumped ahead of New York with the second-best title odds. With a 2-0 NLCS lead over the St. Louis Cardinals, the Nationals have +210 odds at both DraftKings Sportsbook and FanDuel Sportsbook.

The Cardinals lost both games in St. Louis, handing home-field advantage over to Washington. Twenty-five teams in MLB playoff history have lost Game 1 and Game 2 at home in a best-of-seven series. Only three of those teams came back to win the series.

St. Louis is now a +1600 World Series long shot. With ace Jack Flaherty on the mound in Game 3, the Cardinals are slight underdogs against Stephen Strasburg and the Nationals.

Houston is still the World Series favorites after tying up the ALCS 1-1 with an 11-inning Game 2 victory at home. The Astros have +145 championship odds at DraftKings and +150 odds at FanDuel.

The Yankees have +225 and +250 odds at the respective sportsbooks. New York will likely be an underdog when they return home for Game 3. Gerrit Cole will start for Houston. The pitcher has been unbeatable for the last few months.

The Astros are between -150 and -155 favorites to win the ALCS. The Yankees have +130 odds to reach the Fall Classic for the first time in a decade.

The Nationals are overwhelming NLCS favorites with -590 odds at DraftKings and -650 odds at FanDuel. The Cardinals are bigger than 4/1 underdogs.
