Victoria Sabrina, the largest-ever river cruise ship in the world will start sailing on China’s Yangtze River by next year and boasts of many stellar attractions.

The U.S.-based Victoria Cruises owns the opulent cruise ship and regular services are expected in the spring, said the Travel Pulse report.

The ship will have 286 luxury staterooms, theater decks and a capacity to carry more than 600 passengers. According to the report, the entry of a super luxury cruise ship is an indication that China will emerge as the world’s largest travel destination by 2030, per CNN report.

A plethora of attractions

The cruises are open for booking now. According to cruise news, the eco-friendly luxury cruise with Victoria Sabrina will treat guests to many high-class technologies to offer a healthier and relaxed environment.

There are amazing a la carte restaurants, cinemas, bars, spa, and gym. The multiple types of decorated cabins and suites will be catering to varying needs.

The vast sun deck will help in a closer appreciation of the Three Gorges and the landscape of the Mother River for China.

The ship's luxe staterooms will also include the smallest space for passengers. The ship's design will be a mix of modern aesthetics and traditional Chinese-inspired elements.

The best part is that passengers will have the opportunity to get a peek at the Three Gorges Dam, the world's largest hydropower project.

A report by Travel and Leisure highlighted some more aspects. Larry Greenman, the official heading customer service for Victoria Cruise Lines said: “It is the first ship to take full advantage of the increased water level of the Yangtze as a result of the Three Gorges Dam.”

Impressive deals

Shangri-La suites are the highlight of the cruise deals. The staterooms are a whopping 915 square feet plus extra balcony space. The Luxury Amenities package is accentuated with exclusive happy hours and free Wi-Fi.

Greenman told CNN: “The overall experience goes much deeper into the panoramic vistas and traditions of the region and its people.”

The use of mood lighting at Victoria Sabrina has been specially mentioned in the Business Insider report.

Overall the luxury cruise ship makes a fine balancing of both Asian culture and the tastes of a Western audience. The menu is also customizable to western palates, according to Travel Pulse.

The Yangtze River is the third-largest in the world and China’s largest inland body, the CNN report added.
