  • Crown Jewel is due to take place on Nov. 5 in Riyadh
  • Brock Lesnar recently returned to WWE
  • Lesnar lost his WWE title to Roman Reigns earlier this year

WWE has confirmed Bobby Lashley will be Brock Lesnar's opponent in the upcoming Crown Jewel. The pay-per-view event will take place on Nov. 5 in Riyadh.

Lesnar made his first WWE appearance last week since his loss in the Last Man Standing fight against Roman Reigns at SummerSlam in July. The Beast Incarnate made a surprise appearance in an episode of RAW when Lashley was getting ready for his United States Title match against Seth Rollins.

The uncalled-for attack from Lesnar saw an injured Lashley lose the United States Championship fight to Rollins, leaving The All Mighty furious. Later on, Lashley sent out a stern warning to Lesnar, challenging the latter to show up to the red brand Monday.

On his arrival at RAW, Lesnar smiled and saluted the crowd. An angered Lashley soon charged outside the ring to attack the Beast Incarnate. The two wrestled around the ringside area before Lashley dodged an F5 attempt and speared Lesnar through the barricade.

While the scuffle continued, WWE referees, trainers and even wrestlers intervened to separate the two stars. Eventually, Lashley slammed Lesnar on a table, with fans in Oklahoma City chanting "Bobby" as Lesnar scowled in pain.

Later in the Monday Night RAW episode, WWE announcers confirmed Lashley and Lesnar will come face to face again in a few weeks in Saudi Arabia.

The duo competed against each other twice earlier this year. The fight saw Lashley win the WWE title from the Beast after the latter was double-crossed by his then-manager Paul Heyman. The following month, Lesnar won back the WWE Championship in an Elimination Chamber match.

The WWE title did not last long with Lesnar as he lost it to Reigns at WrestleMania 38 in April. The victory saw the Tribal Chief become an Undisputed WWE and Universal Champion. Reigns has now held the Universal Championship for over 800 days.

Apart from Lesnar vs. Lashley, the Crown Jewel event will also have other big fights, including Roman Reigns vs. Logan Paul for WWE Universal Championship and Judgment Day vs. The O.C.
