Things are happening so fast for Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch and this is not limited to their WWE run. Rollins is the Universal and one half of the Raw tag team champion, while Lynch is the undisputed Raw Women's champion. That alone is a special scenario but things just got cheekier with the couple announcing their engagement.

Initially, some WWE fans saw it as all part of the script. But it appears the romance between Rollins and Lynch is as real as it can be. The big news was announced recently over social media, with the Rollins proposing to Lynch at a beachfront. The reigning women's champion called it the happiest day of her life and appears to be ready to take things to the next level.

This will be the second time that Rollins will get engaged while it will Lynch's first. The reigning WWE Universal champion has never been married before, TMZ Sports reported.

It was earlier this year that both Lynch and Rollins confirmed they were dating. All speculations on the two were finally put to rest back in May. The Beastslayer put up an Instagram post of him and Lynch kissing in what appeared to be after Rollins' Wrestlemania 35 match against Brock Lesnar. And now three months later, they are taking it to the next level.

From here, it will be interesting if the WWE takes advantage and integrate the power couple's relationship to storylines. It is something that has been done in the past and hopefully it does not ruin the special bond that both champions have built. Some wrestlers in the past who ended up being a couple include the late Randy "Macho Man" Savage and Elizabeth as well as John Cena and Nikki Bella.

Looking ahead, both Rollins and Lynch have storylines to fulfill. Rollins finds himself a simultaneous champion after he and Braun Strowman formed an uncanny alliance to win the WWE Raw tag team titles at the August 19 edition of WWE Raw when they defeated The O.C. Lynch, on the other hand, seems to have a developing storyline with Sasha Banks who returned to WWE Raw last August 12.
