World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) legend The Rock has insisted that he is open to fighting against Roman Reigns provided it is organized at a “right venue.”

The 10-time champion, who was associated with WWE full-time for eight straight years before he switched to a new career in Hollywood, has said he is open to any big match in WWE but the business model has to be right for the match to happen.

The Rock has had a successful run in Hollywood as well, where the American-Canadian has featured on screen as well as a producer. He considers WWE chief Vince McMahon his mentor and close confidant which is why he says it is tough to turn down the latter.

“Is The Rock vs. Roman Reigns possible? Yeah, I think anything is possible. Sure, of course. I'm always open and you know that's the cool thing about the world of professional wrestling. There is adaptability to wrestling and you know, you never say never in the world of pro wrestling."

“You never say no with Vince McMahon, who has been one of my mentors in business for a very very long time and a very very close friend and confidant. Yeah, so you never say no. I think for something like that to happen, the venue would have to be right. I think the business model would have to be right (laughs). But I'm very close to Roman, that's family to me. We'll see,” said The Rock when he went live on Instagram.

Last year, The Rock has revealed in an interview that he had silently retired from wrestling. However, the 37-year-old does not seem to bring that up any more as he seems geared up to clash against his Samoan cousin, Roman Reigns.

Since The Rock has the need for a “right venue” loud and clear, the WWE Universe can expect to watch the cousins square up against each other at WrestleMania 37, which has been scheduled to take place at the SoFI Stadium in Los Angeles.
