Former RAW general manager Kurt Angle took a break from the WWE scene, but recent reports claimed that the wrestling legend may be due to return at WWE TLC. Angle was never officially fired so a logical appearance may be during the Braun Strowman vs. Baron Corbin card.

Angle was last seen in August when he was removed as the general manager of Monday Night Raw. This is something that should come as no surprise, with the 50-year-old likely given a break due to the torrid schedule of the WWE.

But according to the Barnburner's Fired Up Podcast, the time off was done to give the former Olympic gold medalist the time to return as a wrestler full-time. Now, the latest word on that is Angle is set to return to the scene when WWE Raw airs a day after the WWE TLC event happening this weekend at the SAP Center in San Jose, California, PW Insider reported.

And while that should be something, there is also the possibility that Angle may crash the party at WWE TLC. With the general manager position on the line, the WWE legend could take aim at Baron Corbin, who will get full control if he manages to win over the Monster Among Men.

He could get involved in the match and cost Corbin the match. To recall, the Lone Wolf replaced the WWE legend back in August to serve as the acting manager of the Red brand, Bodyslam.net reported.

Putting the pieces together, Angle's return to active duty could start with a feud opposite Corbin. As for Strowman, there is still a cloud of doubt on whether he is healthy enough to resume in the ring.

As mentioned in a previous post, there were suggestions that Bray Wyatt could also appear at WWE TLC. The Eater of Worlds could end up replacing Strowman or be at ringside to aid his former stablemate. If not Wyatt, Angle could end up facing Corbin instead --obviously a better one and something that would make sense.

For now, these are purely speculations with rumors believing Angle is likely to return at WWE Raw. If so, another scenario could see Corbin bellyaching about the outcome of his match the night before, the cue for the WWE legend to enter the scene in what is expected to draw a loud ovation along with the familiar "You suck" chants.
