WWE Rumors: The Undertaker Likely To Fight In Survivor Series After WrestleMania

The Undertaker, who skipped last year’s WrestleMania, reportedly will fight against AJ Styles at the upcoming edition of Show of Shows, which is scheduled to take place in April in Tampa, Florida.

The news was broken by WrestleZone and was eventually confirmed by WrestlingNews.co’s Paul Davis, who went on to reveal an interesting detail about the rumored fight. “Taker vs. Styles is indeed planned for WrestleMania and I was told that Styles was picked by Taker because he feels that Styles is the modern-day Shawn Michaels,” Davis wrote in his report.

Since 2020 is also Survivor Series’ 30th year in the WWE Company, the Undertaker is most likely to wrestle there, after his WrestleMania fixture.

The Undertaker last fought in the WWE ring in July, where he teamed up with Roman Reigns to beat the pair of Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre in a no-holds-barred contest. The Deadman wrestled twice in 2019. Before the no-holds-barred match, he defeated Goldberg in at Super ShowDown in Saudi Arabia last June.

Meanwhile, the former WWE champion AJ Styles has been out of action because of a shoulder injury that he sustained at the recent Men’s Royal Rumble. Even though he is out, he is expected to wrestle at Super ShowDown on Feb. 29 and he should also be fine for his big match against The Undertaker at the WrestleMania 36.

Sportskeeda's Tom Colohue has reported that The Undertaker was at first asked to fight a match at the Saudi show. Unfortunately, the match had to be canceled for whatsoever reason.

WrestleMania 36 will take place at Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium on April 5 (Sunday).
