The Houston Roughnecks (3-0) have owned the XFL in the first third of the 2020 season. Led by MVP favorite P.J. Walker, they sit atop the XFL West division as the league’s lone undefeated team after Week 3.

Houston leads the league with 99 points scored and a plus-31 point differential. Every Roughnecks game has gone over the betting total. Houston is 2-1 against the spread.

The St. Louis BattleHawks (2-1) covered the spread in their 28-24 Week 2 loss in Houston, giving them the XFL’s only perfect record against the spread. Quarterback Jordan Ta’amu has the league’s best completion percentage and Matt Jones leads all rushers. Two of St. Louis’ games have gone under the betting total.

The BattleHawks and DC Defenders (2-1) are tied atop the XFL East. After outscoring their opponents by 39 points in the first two weeks, the Defenders suffered a 30-point loss in L.A. DC is 2-1 against the spread, and the betting total has gone under in two of its contests.

The Dallas Renegades (2-1) are a game behind Houston in the West. Dallas is 2-1 against the spread, allowing a league-best 45 points. The betting total has gone under in all three of their games.

The Seattle Dragons (1-2) have also only played in games that have gone under. Seattle lost at home against Dallas to fall two games out of first place in the West. The Dragons are 1-2 against the spread.

Seattle is tied with the Los Angeles Wildcats (1-2) at the bottom of the division. Los Angeles has outscored its opponents by three points, looking like a potential contender with former NFL quarterback Josh Johnson leading the way. The Wildcats are 1-2 against the spread, and two of their games have gone over.

The New York Guardians (1-2) are only a game out of first place in the East, but they might be the XFL’s worst team. New York has been outscored 56-9 in two consecutive losses, giving them a 1-2 record against the spread. The under is 3-0 in Guardians’ games as the team has scored a league-low 32 total points.

The Tampa Bay Vipers (0-3) managed to lose to New York in the opener, making them the XFL’s only winless team both straight up and against the spread. Tampa Bay didn’t score an offensive touchdown in the first two games, but the team played in the highest-scoring contest of the entire season in Week 3. The total has gone under in two Vipers’ games, even though Tampa Bay has surrendered a league-high 74 points.

Tampa Bay was favored in its first two games. St. Louis was an underdog in its first two games.

Dallas, Houston and DC have all been favored in every game. New York, Los Angeles and Seattle have been underdogs in each contest.

Favorites and underdogs are both 12-12 ATS. The over has hit in four of the 12 games.
