The Houston Roughnecks are the XFL’s only undefeated team. The St. Louis BattleHawks are the one team that’s perfect against the spread. The Tampa Bay Vipers are winless both straight up and against the spread.

Here are picks against the spread for every game in Week 4 of the 2020 XFL season, as well as updated betting odds at U.S. sportsbooks.

Los Angeles Wildcats (-7.5) at New York Guardians

Both teams are 1-2, but there’s a sizable gap between the Wildcats and the Guardians. Los Angeles might end up being one of the league’s two best teams. Josh Johnson entered the season as the MVP favorite, and he leads all quarterbacks with a 113.9 passer rating after missing Week 1 with an injury. The Wildcats’ defense has improved in two straight weeks with head coach Winston Moss running the unit. New York is a complete mess on offense, scoring the league’s fewest points amid uncertainty at quarterback.

Prediction ATS: Los Angeles

Seattle Dragons (+11.5) at St. Louis BattleHawks

Seattle’s defense has a chance to keep this one close. The Dragons have only surrendered 46 total points in three games to opposing offenses. Linebacker Steve Johnson leads all players with 32 tackles, and Seattle has five interceptions in the last two games. St. Louis was dominant in last week’s 29-9 victory over New York, but the BattleHawks only had 273 yards of offense and returned a kick for a touchdown. The Dragons might have a chance to win in the fourth quarter if Brandon Silvers doesn’t turn the ball over.

Prediction ATS: Seattle

Houston Roughnecks (-1.5) at Dallas Renegades

Keep betting on the Roughnecks until they lose, especially if Houston is laying less than a field goal. P.J. Walker has looked like the XFL’s version of Patrick Mahomes, totaling more touchdowns (11) than every single team. Walker has posted a triple-digit passer rating each week and connected with receiver Cam Phillips for seven scores. Dallas hasn’t put together a consistent four-quarter effort yet. One good half won’t be enough to upset the Roughnecks.

Prediction ATS: Houston

DC Defenders (-2.5) at Tampa Bay Vipers

The Defenders might have been favored by a touchdown had this game been played a week ago. DC should bounce back after suffering its first loss of the season, during which Cardale Jones played miserably with 103 passing yards and four interceptions. The Vipers still haven’t gotten a quality performance from a starting quarterback, giving three signal callers significant playing time.

Prediction ATS: DC

Season Record: 7-1
