Xiaomi’s budget-friendly Redmi 3S smartphone is retailing at a starting price of 699 yuan (about $106) in China. Now, the same device is available for preorder in the U.S. via a prominent third-party vendor.

E-retailer “Geek Buying,” known for selling international variants, is now taking preorders of the 16GB variant of Xiaomi Redmi 3S for $152.49. The 32GB model, on the other hand, comes for $188.99. The seller also offers free shipping service with every purchase. The ordered device will reportedly start shipping from July 9 onwards.

Even though the Redmi 3S is an entry-level handset, it features a metallic chassis. Plus, Xiaomi is offering the handset in three colors namely Dark Gray, Silver and Gold.

The Xiaomi Redmi 3S carries a 5.0-inch IPS display, packed with 720 x 1,280 pixels screen resolution. This budget-friendly phone has a fingerprint scanner at the back of the device.

Under the hood, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 430 processor powers the handset with 2GB or 3GB of RAM backing it. This device comes equipped with 16GB or 32GB of native storage space. The RAM and internal memory combination account for a total of 6 variants.

Battery-wise, the Redmi 3S houses a generous 4,100 mAh battery cell. This handset sports a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera unit with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. It also supports phase-detection auto-focus, HDR mode and some manual controls, to name a few. In addition, there is also a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter for selfies with f/2.2 aperture.

To top it off, the Redmi 3S supports dual-SIM cards. However, the only negative aspect is that this device runs MIUI 7 based on Android Lollipop out of the box, and not Marshmallow.
