Xiaomi’s latest Redmi Note 3 smartphone made its debut recently in China, alongside the powerful tablet Mi Pad 2 and Mi Air Purifier 2. Three Chinese sellers are now taking preorders of this new handset in the U.S. They are also providing free shipping service.

Marketed as a mid-ranger, the metal-clad Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 comes packed with a sleek design, fingerprint scanner and a bumped up battery unit. Interested buyers can purchase the 16 GB variant of this device from Ever Buying for $179.79. The Note 3 is also being offered by Geek Buying for $169.99 and Gear Best for $179.79.

It goes without saying that out of the three sellers, Geek Buying has the best offer. Seller Ever Buying says the device will start shipping after Dec. 31, while Gear Best and Geek Buying will reportedly ship the ordered handset within 3 to 5 business days and 2 to 7 days, respectively. Speaking of color choices, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 is being offered in Gray, Gold and Silver hues with 16 GB and 32 GB storage choices.

Spec-wise, Giz Bot says the Redmi Note 3 features a 5.5-inch display, packed with a Full HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. Under the hood, the handset comes powered by a MediaTek Helio X10 chipset, working in tandem with an octa-core processor, running at 2.2 GHz. It comes backed by a solid 2 GB or 3 GB of RAM, depending on the native storage selection. This means, the 16 GB variant comes with 2 GB of RAM, whereas the 32 GB model flaunts a 3 GB unit.

When it comes to camera configuration, the smartphone sports an impressive 13-megapixel rear-facing sensor with Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) support and a 5-megapixel secondary shooter. The fingerprint scanner is located on the back of the device. However, the icing on the cake in this mid-range device is the humongous 4,000 mAh battery unit.
