In honor of the upcoming Daytime Emmys, which will be televised for the first time in years, the theme week approach to “The Young and the Restless” will be a little different beginning on June 22, as the episodes that air will highlight past award-winning performances from the cast.

With the show receiving 21 nominations overall this year, including Best Drama Series and eight different acting nominations, and lifetime achievement of 154 Daytime Emmy wins, including 10 Outstanding Drama Series trophies and a total of 41 different acting wins, there is certainly plenty for the CBS Daytime Drama to celebrate.

Monday, June 22:

  • Episode Synopsis: Traci (Beth Maitland) is rescued by Danny (Michael Damian) and Cricket (Lauralee Bell), while Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) plan to reunite Victor (Eric Braeden) and his estranged mother, Cora (Dorothy McGuire) backfires.
