She has finally admitted to what she used a DNA specialist for, and Ashley’s bombshell confession about how she duped her older brother into believing he wasn’t really an Abbott will change things within the family forever on the Monday, Oct. 15 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”

After Jack (Peter Bergman) and Kyle (Michael Mealor) called a Jabot board meeting in an attempt to get answers about Ashley’s (Eileen Davidson) payments to Andrew (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) and “Type A Consulting,” she finally revealed the truth on the CBS soap. In a bombshell announcement, she revealed to Jack that he no longer needed to search for the truth about his biological father, because he had been John Abbott’s son all along, even though the DNA tests he had conducted stated otherwise.

Now, Ashley will reveal all of the details behind her elaborate plot, which she concocted out of revenge for his using the Blood Abbott clause against her when she tried to become CEO of Jabot. Jack will be astounded as she reveals that she manipulated Dina (Marla Adams) to believe she had an affair, which prompted her confession that Jack was not John’s son. From there, she’ll reveal how she manipulated the results of each DNA test along the way.

The news is an epic bombshell for Jack and the rest of the family, as they realize how much this will affect their future going forward. Jack is never going to forgive his sister for her deception and lies, especially because she used their mother’s Alzheimer's against her. Likewise, the rest of her family, like Kyle, Traci (Beth Maitland) and Abby (Melissa Ordway) will also be stunned and disgusted, as they individually plan to confront her over the news as well.

This will only be the latest bombshell to affect the Abbott family since they brought Dina back into their lives. They’ve been contending with her Alzheimer’s for some time, as well as the scandal that came to be between her and Graham (Max Shippee) before his death. Now, this could be their biggest scandal of all—with the most severe consequences.

“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
