Young and the Restless
Victoria is further implicated when it comes to JT’s death on “The Young and the Restless.” Howard Wise/JPI Studios for CBS

They are now all aware of who was blackmailing them about JT’s death and that real evidence exists that ties them to the crime. Now, as they try to get a handle on the situation, Victoria could wind up getting caught as she takes action on the Tuesday, Nov. 20 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”

After learning that Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) was the one who had blackmailed Sharon (Sharon Case), Victoria (Amelia Heinle), Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) because she had proof that the four women had covered up JT’s death, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) confronted her mother about it on the CBS soap. Since then, all four women have been brought up to speed, and they’ve gotten Mariah to agree to do whatever it takes to get the proof from Tessa and destroy it.

Now, Mariah will do as asked and trick Tessa into believing she is going to give their relationship another chance, and she will secure the thumb drive the other woman kept the incriminating footage on. However, what happens next could still prove to keep the women in danger of having their crimes exposed.

“Y&R” spoilers tease that “Victoria is caught in the act,” which means that even when the footage lands in her hands, she may not be able to successfully destroy it without raising suspicions. However, it could also be a hint that things won’t go as smoothly as the women hoped, especially since the detective in charge of the case has become suspicious of them.

Tessa likely isn’t ready to give up on the one thing that guarantees her access to a large amount of cash. Though she may not suspect that Mariah is playing her for the footage by swearing she didn’t reveal where she learned the truth from, she likely has more than one copy of video—and is holding on to it for safe keeping in the meantime.

As for Victoria being caught in the act, it could also be in relation to Rey’s (Jordi Villasousa) investigation into JT’s murder. Rey has realized that Victoria knew that JT’s body wasn’t in Chancellor Park and that there was information she had which she couldn’t have learned from anyone else. Though she has come up with reasons for why she knew where his watch was found, Rey remains suspicious. If he is continuing to examine her statements, then he may be more aware of her involvement in the crime than Victoria realizes, and her lies could be piling up too much for her to not implicate herself as a result.

“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EST on CBS.
