The ZTE V5 is the new upper-midrange smartphone from the Chinese brand that comes with impressive specs and affordable pricing. It is now listed on Gear Best with a preorder pricing of $199.

The ZTE V5 is a 4G phablet that comes with a massive screen of 5.5 inches. It offers a display resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels along with a pixel density of 401 ppi.

Under its hood is the Snapdragon 615 chipset, which houses a 64-bit octa-core processor that clocks at 1.5 GHz and Adreno 405 graphics. The chipset is coupled with 2 GB of RAM.

The internal storage of the ZTE V5 is 16 GB and on its externals storage users can add up to 128 GB of microSD. The device comes preinstalled with Android 5.1 Lollipop that is overlaid with Nubia UI 3.0 skin.

The rear panel of the ZTE V5 features a 13-megapixel camera that is equipped with f/2.2 aperture lens. On the front panel, there is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera that supports 88 degree wide-angle photo shooting.

It is a dual SIM handset that comes with support for LTE connectivity. Both the SIM slots support nano SIM cards. The second SIM slot doubles up as a microSD slot. Other connectivity features of the ZTE V5 include 3G, Wi-Fi, v4.0 Bluetooth. The device is powered by a 3,000 mAH battery.

The preorders of the ZTE V5 began on Monday on Gear Best. The last date for preordering the handset is Sept. 20. The Chinese retailer offers free shipping service to customers across the globe.
