Did E.L. James just reveal a casting scoop for the “50 Shades of Grey” movie? The best-selling author shared a photo of herself on Twitter cuddled up with an actor who could be cast in the highly anticipated “love story with a kink.”

So, who's potentially the lucky guy? Chris Evans, “Captain America” !

James, who attended an event on Wednesday, posed with the 32-year-old actor and beau of Minka Kelly. She noted, “Having fun … ;)”

Casting for the movie has been hush-hush, but rumors of Evans' casting started in July 2012 when Faye Skelton, a senior lecturer in psychology at the University of Central Lancashire in the U.K., created a virtual portrait (more like police sketch) of billionaire heartthrob Christian Grey. Skelton used descriptions from 12 female “50 Shades” readers to create an image that resembles Evans.

An official casting announcement could come after Labor Day, The Wrap reports. While fans continue waiting, director Bret Easton Ellis (“The Canyons”) claims to knows who James wants to play the lead role.

“She is never going to get him,” Easton teased Refinery 29. “He has dark hair. Of course, that’s what she wants … Okay, I can say this: Think of the most obvious, fitting choice. It’s right in front of your face. I can’t say anything.”

Other stars rumored to be under consideration include “Sons Of Anarchy” star Charlie Hunnam, who's the “prime target” by Universal producers, according to TwitchFilms.com.

“50 Shades Of Grey” is scheduled to be released on Aug. 1, 2014.
