Aaron Rodgers Girlfriend: Olivia Munn Shows Off Ring, Denies Engagement

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers' relationship with girlfriend Olivia Munn is still going strong, the actress confirmed Wednesday. In fact, “The Newsroom” actress said Rodgers recently bought her a special ring -- though not the kind one would expect.

“This is a gift from my boyfriend, actually,” Munn told the New York Post while showing off the vintage jewelry. “I wore this for a premiere and he had heard me talking to my stylist about being obsessed with it. It is such a special ring, and then he surprised me.”

Soon after, the 34-year-old assured her interviewer that she and Rodgers, 30, aren't engaged just yet. “It’s not that kind of ring, by the way. It’s not a special ring. I mean, it’s a very special ring, but it is not the special ring,” she said.

Rodgers and Munn began dating after they met backstage at the Academy of Country Music Awards in April. They were spotted kissing on the set of “The Newsroom” in June. “I’m really happy in my relationship. And I understand what comes with it,” Rodgers told ESPN Wisconsin at the time.

Packers officials have noticed a difference in Rodgers since he started dating Munn. “He’s very happy. This is frankly, I think, the happiest I’ve ever seen him,” Green Bay head coach Mike McCarthy said at an Oct. 9 press conference, according to Yahoo Sports.

Rodgers’ strong play this season seems to reflect his success off the field. In seven games this season, he’s thrown for 1,674 yards and 18 touchdowns against just one interception.

The Packers own a 5-2 record this season and are in the midst of a four-game winning streak. Green Bay will face the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, Oct. 26, at 8:30 p.m. ET.
